Early Life

Right from her childhood, she has been under the influence of arts and literature. Her mother was a renowned writer and author and this helped Nandita have a childhood encumbered with the factors of literature, creativity and artistic essence. Though she was born in Mumbai but it was Delhi where she spent most part of her childhood. She received her schooling education from Delhi and later on she received graduate degree in social work from Delhi School of Social works. According to her, she was interesting in acting and play directions right from her school and collegiate days. She had been an active participant in stage plays during her teenage which actually helped her to emerge as a successful actress later on.
